Wedding trends for 2020 with a Eco Twist

Every year wedding trends change depending on fashion, pop culture and economic times. 2020 is no different but it's good to see that the trends to be moving toward unique and individual design to reflect the couple in question.

Alot of our influences still come from America and Europe, but we have our own take and from what I've been told 2020 is a great year to get married. Particularly if you like to be unique. So here are some ideas to inspire your day.

Dresses: Lace details will still continue with unique designs to personalize the brides style. Side splits seem to be big for 2020 also.

Ceremony & Reception: Being an eco florist I'm happy to see the 2020 trends for this section. Outdoor tents and at home entertainment are trending for 2020 as some couples saving here by not having a venue. Eco conscious eating and entertaining. Environmental is growing as Well as couples choosing healthier options from local producer's.

Flowers: My favourite section of course. Personal flowers are not as big as we've seen in the past. More couples are asking their florist to concentrate more on ceremony and reception areas with flower decorations. Again following on from outdoor and home trend main focus is Arches,  long tables and even trees. The shapes of arches are still round but weird shapes are becoming popular coming back to couples being unique and doing them. Hanging greenery and flowers in tents or reception areas. Soft draping over arches and string lighting is on trend . Seating charts also are being made in unique designs and materials to reflect the couple.

Bouquets: Garden style with greenery and colorful flowers are dominating along with bouquet hoops for brides and bridesmaids. Long trailing greenery is also a favorite. Colors coming through seem to shades of  gold, lilac, orange, and peach. Add lot's of candles and natural themes and that's your list for 2020. Hope you find some inspiration for your 2020 Wedding planning.
